(2007) Petko Radilov Website

(2007) Petko Radilov Website

http://www.petkoradilov.com/ A very talented videographer and movie producer Petko Radilov came to us with the request to design an online video portfolio website for him. He wanted a very simple website (as you can see). His larger request was that we convert all his videos into the Flash Video format, so that they can be streamed over the internet, rather than downloaded. He was aware of YouTube and Vimeo and other similar services but he wanted to be independent, so we helped with that too and the site is actually still hosted on our servers.  We also designed a pop-up window with a “flatscreen TV” on whose screen video content was to be displayed.Click on the image to the right to see a sample. The reel on the right shows a list of frames from the video and allows the user to jump to that point and also provide a quick overview of the entire...

(2007) Mesmerized Productions Website

http://www.mesmerizedproductions.com/ Mesmerized Productions is a NY based film production company. They came to us with a very specific and very original idea about how they wanted their website to look (like a movie theater). The idea is that any content that is shown will appear on the “movie screen”. We were able to make it happen and they liked it a lot. But we didn’t stop there. They hired us to convert all their DVDs and HD videos into the Flash Video format, so that it can be streamed over the internet, rather than downloaded. They were aware of YouTube and Vimeo and other similar services but they wanted to be independent, so we helped with that too and the site is actually still hosted on our servers.  Click on the image to the right to see a sample of how the theater dims to be less distracting and the video content appears on the screen. The reel on the bottom is a list of frames from the video and allow the user to jump to that point and also provide a quick overview of the entire...
(2007) Lakewood MUA Website

(2007) Lakewood MUA Website

http://www.lakewoodmua.com/ The Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority came to our partners at ENTCHEV.com and asked for a redesign of their current website. The project was subcontracted to us. Even though we were not crazy about the “pipe” design, they really liked it, so we worked with it and did our best. It turned out well.  We implemented the design into DreamWeaver templates, which would allow employees without extensive knowledge of HTML and web development to make updates without any possibility of “breaking” the design. Another benefit of using DreamWeaver templates is that they could use the much simpler Adobe Contribute to make the changes, rather than DreamWeaver, which can be intimidating for the inexperienced user.  We also wrote some PHP based reporting scripts, which are still used to run daily queries on their payments database and send out an email to the parties interested in what payments were made during the last day. Update: Our design has now been replaced by a more modern website. We...

(2006) Cape Eleuthera Island School Website

http://www.islandschool.org/ As one of our first projects the Cape Eleuthera Island School asked us to redesign their website, so it looks more up-to-date and is easier to maintain. We worked with them to come up with a design they liked and then implemented it into DreamWeaver templates, which would allow employees without extensive knowledge of HTML and web development to make updates without any possibility of “breaking” the design. Another benefit of using DreamWeaver templates is that they could use the much simpler Adobe Contribute to make the changes, rather than DreamWeaver, which can be intimidating for the inexperienced user.  Update: Our design has now been replaced by a more modern website, which seems to be WordPress based. We...
